For over 40 years, Hildale Park has been Hanover's source for fresh cut Christmas trees from the hills of Pennsylvania. Our trees come in two varieties:
Fraser Fir: A classical Christmas tree with blunt, rounded needles which are a pale, icy green on the bottom, and a rich dark green on top.
Douglass Fir: A thick, full Christmas tree with soft, springy needles that are a bright lime-green color
Prices range from $110-130.
All staff are volunteers, and all proceeds from this fundraiser support the missions and ministries of the church. A few examples of our recent ministry work are listed below:
$30,000 to Disaster relief, hunger relief, and humanitarian aide, both foreign and domestic, in the last three years. Funds from this program contributed to the cleaning and sanitizing of a lake in Masaya, Nicaragua, which now provides potable water and viable fishing stock for several small towns, and has helped with disasters as diverse as Hurricane Helene, the California wildfires, and the port explosion in Beruit.
6,000lbs of food and over $1,200 cash to Interfaith Food Pantry in the last two years
$3,000 to Ukraine for ambulances and emergency supplies
$2,000 for education of Ukrainian refugees
$3,000 for a new piano for the Market Street Mission homeless shelter
$1,200 for Grace Presbyterian Church of Montclair, NJ, which was destroyed by a fire on August 15th 2023
Proceeds also provide curriculum and supplies for the church's youth Christian education programs, for Pre-K-Adult.
